Step back in time to 1947 when you have a sandwich at the counter of Langer’s Deli. The menu is vast, but what you really want to pay attention to is the Pastrami Section. The #19 is famous, and despite the abundance of signs telling you to order it, you will probably decide you need to try something else in addition to that. YOU DON’T! The #19 Pastrami on Rye with Russian Dressing and Cole Slaw is big enough for two and so delicious that nothing else will measure up!
The price is just under $20 for just about any sandwich in there, but the price for parking is FREE! So really it’s like the meal costs only $10!
Langer’s Deli might close at 4 p.m., but it’s open every day at 8 a.m. That’s just early enough for the OG customers and just late enough to avoid the young Hollywood partiers 🙂
